You can change gears on your motorcycle in different ways. Most people operate the clutch with their left hand and shift with their left foot.
There are also people who do this the other way around. They pair with the left foot and switch with the left hand. This is called suicide clutch in combination with jockey shift.
The problem with suicide clutch is that you have to make sure the gear is in neutral before you put your left foot on the ground. To solve this problem, most riders with this configuration lean on their right leg at the traffic light. This allows them to continue to operate the clutch when stationary.
These jockey shift/manual shift parts are for real men only!
