A chopper motorcycle is a modified motorcycle. It's longer then original. The motorcycle has been given a different wheelbase. That is, the frame has been modified and the wheels are further apart. The motorcycle has become longer. By changing the angle of the steering head and by using a longer fork, the wheelbase is longer. In order for the bike to continue to steer properly, it is usually also necessary to raise the steering head in addition to being more angled. The chopper has a high handlebar (apehanger) and a small gas tank. A chopper often has a small front wheel with a large diameter. A Sissybar is also commonly seen on a chopper.
The bobber is a stripped down factory motorcycle stripped of all unnecessary parts. They often have no front fender and a very small rear fender. A bobber does not have a longer front fork or longer wheelbase but the bobber does have many similarities to the chopper. Most bobbers have big gas tank. Some bobbers have a Springer front fork.
